Cheer up, Uberfish! Don't be such a grump.
Well, maybe that was just me being dense, but I didn't think PB's claim was all that clear when I first read it:
He was saying that if someone died, you would be 100% innocent, but he didn't explicitly state the inverse. (Which is understandable, since he would then be alive to explain himself in more detail, anyway.) And even if the last scum immediately realized what PB's post implied, he would still have to evaluate his options compared to the kill he was planning to make.
So IMO it requires pretty quick thinking by scum on top of really monitoring the thread very closely. Let's say it took him only one minute to discover PB's post, half a minute to read it, one minute to digest it and consider his options, and half a minute to submit an updated order. That's still three minutes - so yeah, it's certainly possible, but if he was looking away for three minutes instead, or a bit slower to process, then the opportunity would be lost. I mean, we can argue probabilities back and forth, but to say that it could "very easily be a frame job" really feels like a stretch. It seems like a simpler explanation that you are in fact the last scum.
How would you have played this as scum, then? Honest question.

I performed an ability/action targetted on uberfish tonight.
If someone dies from a night kill, even if it's me, you may assume it a divine commandment that uberfish is 100% villager.
And yes a small part of me will die inside if that is the case.
Cue segue into a quiet night, crickets chirping...?

If you know what I mean.
