teleh, I'm really bemused here. I saw the argument unfold in the Q&A thread, but I didn't see any douchbaggery. BRick just said that if the Q&A thread departed from its original purpose of "letting people ask general noob questions" to "becoming a banter thread which was not part of the original agreement," he'd moderate the thread. I don't understand why that's objectionable - he's an admin with an obvious reason to be in this subforum, so it makes sense that he'd take care of it. Part of the RB philosophy, as far as I can tell from having been here only a few months, is trust. We post our spoiler threads in the public eye, trusting that our fellow competitors won't abuse that. Why is it so much harder to trust that an admin who's been here for years wouldn't abuse his moderator privileges?

From my perspective, BRick/xenu/BGN have been courteous and aboveboard. More experienced and skilled MP players didn't have a problem with them (or Azza) joining the game, so clearly in the context of this site, their skill levels are judged "Green." Since so many of us are new, it's hard to judge where we fall in relation to that team, but who cares? This is supposed to be a friendly noob match, as you said, not a serious competition. I don't think they're here to feel better about themselves by stomping on the weak.

I really hope you rethink this.
