Sheesh, man u don't have to be that negative 
but we had more pressing concerns than hooking up 1 resource. We had nothing but ice and tundra to the north, the only way we are going to make really good use of the land was use of the water wonders in this game.
Also although I think it's a nice move to go for TGH or the Colossus, I don't think wonder chasing would that great of an idea. We will most likely already have one of them, and I would rather not chase another one, as we are already investing resources into one of them, significantly decreasing the chances of getting the other one.
