Yeah you ain't bad for a noob! Though one thing, too late now, I would have placed Manzana Heights 1W so the dry rice was 1st ring.

Oh, I think about that at that moment. My idea was to use the capital to make a galley and explore the nearby islands. So one of MH purposes was to be used as a channel/fort pre-maths. Seeing the map now or if I had done a better scouting earlier I wouldn't have placed the city there, though I wouldn't have put it where you are indicated neither.
I think settling the city 1SE of this current location would be better.
I could have gone AH earlier and have pig/clamp/cooper all in first ring for a much better early city and I would have been able to build axes. The rice would still be used for a later Moai city on the island to the West.

I'm trying not to complain really hard untill I finish the GLH although if for some reason I don't get for a turn or two then EVERYTHING WILL HAVE TO BURN!
