It might actually be worthwhile to get Priesthood before Monarchy though, looking at it. 20% of 483 beakers is fairly close to Priesthood's cost I believe. So it might be a good idea to go AH -> Writing -> Monotheism/Priesthood -> Priesthood/Monotheism -> Monarchy -> Theology.
