Same here, I just would hope for a bit of communication when these kinds of things come up. Sometimes you know you'll be late, others you won't. But it's good to be able to get in touch with someone, even a quick gchat to another player to post in your absence. It's all (to me) about trying to be considerate of the other players.
That said, I'm out of town for five days starting in about 15 minutes. If my team is holding up the game, blame Xenu and Brick.
