Pity that we don't have copper next to our immediate city sites, but at least we still have it and it can be improved fairly soon. (Being a 0-food tile, we are not in a huge hurry to work it though)
What do you think about founding our 4th city on the tile W of the current "city 6". Dry rice is only a 4/0-tile but it's better than nothing and thanks to our capital culture it can be pre-improved. Growing to size 2 with the rice and then build e.g. a worker working rice+copper is not the worst plan in the world. Chop in barracks for culture, improve cows and keep struggling..
Re demos: Yeah we are probably going to suck still for a long time. Just look at that jungle and lack of improvable food resources
But hey, we have 1-digit crop yield ranking. That's something!
