I want to comment on what I think is one of the biggest mistakes of the draft: picking Byzantium to go with Suryavarman.
* Byzantium has terrible techs, and it's a really big drawback.
* In a game vs humans, my experience is that cataphracts get you attacked early more often than they are offensively useful.
* Mysticism to start + CRE is really ugly. A significant advantage of CRE is thrown away there.
* Really bad techs to start combine poorly with EXP (and CRE) - EXP can speed up your production early on but these guys won't have the worker techs to really take advantage of it.
