I'm also reading every post that you make, so don't be disheartened. You're just in a position where there's still little going on in game and it's early enough to keep simming so it makes sense your thread is full of this yes.

That's nice to hear! And yeah, this is also kind of a must. If we are given a start without a single 6-foodhammer tile in the neighborhood (apart from lonely plains cows) and most of our food is in the seas, etc. etc... Then yeah, we sure as hell try to optimize every single tile switch in order to stay even in a touching distance from the leaders.. Or we could quit.

And I also don't think I'm just hallucinating. Early demos and score kind of tell that grass is really greener on the other side. I really doubt we could have done significantly better so far. Maybe some lurker could prove me wrong though!

That's very good information! I'm happy that we have Archery, but based on your comments I see no reason to build any military yet. It's very likely that those Axes from yuris are ment for that apparent conflict with suttree. Let's hope that barbs let us in peace as well..
