Turn 163.
Last turn I researched Compass instead of gunpowder. Why? because I don't need gunpowder right now, I won't build any musketman nor I need it as pre-requisite for another tech, so I decided that getting Astronomy 1 turn early was more important. Taking this into consideration I'm trying to time whipping universities so I can overflow into observatories when I get to Astronomy.
Now this turn I got a 7% prophet, I didn't consider this could happen I was expecting a merchant a 44% or a scientist a 34% so this was dumb luck, still if Boldy and Molach wouldn't have spread Judaism I probably wound't have built the Shrine, but they did for the AP hammers, I wonder if they regret that decision.
Wetbandit won't trade maps. The reason is obvious there is a bunch of islands between us and he wants the advantage in the race for settle more land. Well I don't really care about the islands I'm going to expand towards Boldy, I mean take cities from him. This might not be the best decision but I think is the only one that can end this quickly. If I take enough land fast enough then I can try to get a concession. The only problem I can think of is if WilianLP is going for a cultural victory, in that case I' scrub as I can't realistically stop him.
Now about Boldy, he is obviously going to use his knights (still can't spell the name of his UU) what is left to decide is against who? Halvgud is a good option, he is close to him, is weak and has nice cottages for boldy. On the other hand, if Boldy decided he can't win he would go after me. The problem is he can't attack me without ships, and he hasn't built anything close to a navy.
The worst scenario is if boldy start building units non stop to avoid me attacking him, in this case I'm scrub. If I can't take boldy's land then I'll eventually lose, the longer this game goes the worst my position compared to WillianLP will be.
Pictures about the tactical situation with Boldy next turn (tomorrow)
Yeah, 7% odds plus other civs spreading my religion
