How about a city just for the ivory happy? No fresh water, no food, eight forests. No ta. Let's let dtay settle it (to the north east? It would be good for us if he settled a no-food border city wouldn't it?) and trade for ivory when we need it.

I wonder how many EPs we can put on him before he does. I think the bowman from Cannae next turn should head down into the jungle, possibly hanging around the dye or iron to gather XP.

We start a settler in Agincourt while the one in Endor will finish eot89 - everything is on schedule for settling Hastings t92. With this size of accompanying force I'm happy not to declare-peace Suttree again next turn, what do you think?

Lunch is on his way home. I had another look at this island and the indicated tile (or 1S) could make for another good city, except that it can be boated from Slow's city. Perhaps SE of the wheat would be okay, but its only two turns for Slow to hit it too. So we'd only have one good city on the island, which would be hard to defend, being so far from our core... I hope we can find a bunch of good sites elsewhere so that we can come back to conquor this place later. It occcurs to me that Pindicooter's Vikings are going to be a nightmare on this map... I hope they are a long way away.
