Good point. However I see no harm in doing our worker micro and other things not visible to other civs earlier. As you know turns are already taking longer and ym seems to be pretty late so if we really wait until them our playing window because pretty minimal and surely affects the quality of our play.

That's awesome news! I'm so happy that I did not check civstats properly!

Quote:Sounds good, although whipping off the new corn seems a bit of a waste.
Yeah, those were just very preliminary thoughts! Delaying the axe whip by a turn in Dunkirk is e.g. economically better and we don't want to whip Jamestown or Hastings if we don't have to..

Yeah, that is really my main worry about the city.

Your comments are genuinely valuable! One fells so easily in love with one's own plans that they are often difficult to change even if new circumstances require it. That is one of the reasons why it's so great to have you around questioning our decisions!

Quote:Where exactly is yurimack? I was having trouble locating him/them (?) on the map screenshots - I assume south of m_h and suttree?
We know that he has a city south of suttree. So probably his region is SE part of our continent. If he would really like to attack us he would more or less have to bring his troops through suttree's and m_h's lands.
Quote:If Hastings is on constant unit production, you might consider settling the GG there if it would get us to consistent shock axes or something. Looks like we might have enough combat to get another for a medic by the Middle Ages after all ...
Hastings is now forced to whip units because of suttree, but hopefully that won't be the long-term purpouse of the city. Hastings also won't become a major prodution center for our civ (Jamestown could) either. I also would like to spare the GG for an emergency use for now. A free promotion + 20 XP will surely become handy if suttree sends a stack to our borders..
