1. What deals do we have with Asterix? I wouldn't cancel all of them just yet … I'm just not seeing a reason to antagonize/punish him any further, and doing so will increase Care Bears' advantage over both of us. I'd rather us just keep what we're doing, but if you have a compelling argument I can be persuaded otherwise… also if we're headed for Currency, we might want all the open borders we can get, and Asterix's capital will give us more income than one of Care Bears' fringe cities.
2. OK, I was thinking of Monarchy OR Currency. Getting either tech would help our economy, maybe Currency mores (it's an immediate boost). But are we in agreement that if Rome doesn't present a problem that Monarchy and Currency are our two biggest priorities now? That is, after getting one, we should beeline the other? Unless we want Code of Laws, Calendar, Metal Casting, or stuff like that … say, is the religion from Monotheism still available?
3. Now that we want to negotiate with Team Orgynized, what do you want to modify based on my previous message below?
I'm going to have to go back and see what other NAPs we have, and if any are close to expiring…
-Say, about the Great Scientist … come the next turn, we might just be the first civilization to get a Great Person! :good job:
EDIT: South units, I wouldn't raze Rome's city … doing so will just make us the target instead of (hopefully) the English team. Of course, should Rome already be at war with them, we should make some opportunistic strikes.

Quote:Team Orgynized,
It's been a while since we talked, so I just want to touch base with you again. As you know, our current NAP expires on turn 90. We also have deals involving (1) espionage limitations, (2) confidentiality of messages, (3) no-scouting without consent, and (4) no settling more than 5 tiles from our capitals in our directions.
At the moment, we don't see a need to change much of our deals, other than extend a NAP. Thus, Team EggHeads would like to offer a deal extension, with the following details:
1. NAP until turn 120.
2. Starting on turn 90, no settling more than seven tiles from our capitals in our respective directions (west for us, east for you) without each other's consent. We stick with the five tile restriction that was set in our last deal, but basically alter it on turn 90 to allow both of us to expand further.
3. No espionage spending unless we agree to both spend to even things out.
4. Open Borders.
5. No-scouting without consent.
6. A continuation of confidentiality of our agreements.
As far as the game goes, how is your civilization doing? Right now, we are busy trying to expand to catch up to the rapid pace of Care Bears and SutOxy's expansion, but we're also balancing things out by trying to get an early Great Scientist to hopefully make up for being non-financial.
Sincerely,
DMOC of Team EggHeads
