Nice one on that ss, I didn't saw that 1st time. Still, nothing to be proud of for us. We are ahead of nonFIN team in research, thats expected.
Cause we are EggHeads after all.
I would like to grab a Marble somehow, through diplo or war. That resource could be huge to us.

I'm sure MM dont want stone. What they could buid? Moai?
They invest into GW without stone after all.
Quote:(2) SutOxy if they should open borders with Care Bears
I'll chat with Sut soon, I hope. I was gonna ask him take OB with India but without commitment.
See, our diplo is fragile.
We should insure ourself from both side.
We dont wanna ally with frontrunner India, obv. But we cant depend on OS/Orgy pair either. They could break deals with us after we close borders to India.
I'll try to explain it in the chat to Sut.
Right now we pay too much in import/export but it might give us some options in the future.
In any case, dont forget to mention in diplo mail to almost any team: we don't need TR with you, we are just friendly.
Some responses to your last post.
1. How about we start moving our scout down south? I'd be particularly interested in exploring that copper region. Yes, it's risky since our scout could die, but if he does it's no big deal, and there's an outside chance he could reach Inca and then travel around their borders to the southern landmass to that peninsula. We might get circumnavigation, after all. What do you think?
2. Yes, I think we're a little ahead of Incas, but if they are just starting Currency, I wonder if they have already researched another classical era tech other than Mathematics.
3. To get the marble, we just need to settle a city between Illinois and Roman city of Antium. Of course, to do that, we'll need to have Rome target someone else.
4. Asterix did mention that he wanted stone. Still, if we are generating enough GPT with Currency, we might consider paying him some gold for happiness. How much is a fair price?
5. If we are paying too much in import/export, will things change once we get currency and get two trade routes per city? Okay, if Care Bears and SutOxy open borders I guess it doesn't really hurt us that much ... Care Bears would be getting something like 1 or 2 extra GPT at most, and it keeps them from getting angry at us.

TURN 91 STUFF

So, we got The Hanging Gardens, and with 9 cities I think it was a solid investment. Of course, now we're actually close to India in score instead of the rest of the pack, so we'll have to be careful in case any teams are worried about us. But THG is not as powerful as The Pyramids + Financial + 4 extra cities, so we should keep telling teams to worry about India.
Say ... we received a message from India. Recall that they sent us this on November 7:
Quote:Hi dear EggHeads,
Our relations are good but they can always be better!
Would you like to open negociations with us over some or all of the following points :
- longer NAP : we could agree to a NAP until turn 120 or even 140
- open borders, resource deals?
- right of passage for scouting units?
- defensive pact against rome / against all other civs?
- map exchange?
- confidentiality agreement over the points above?
The Care Bears
You responded earlier today:
Quote:Hi,
What are you suggest our deals should be?
Its tough situation for us, cause every other team expect we are suicide on you and slow you down.
We obv dont want it.
Chat maybe before final deal is offered by e-mail? There is still time.
Congrats again on 3-0. Ukraine deserve it, as I see it. They talked too much after 1st match.
All the best,
TKGB
And Yuufo's response.
Quote:Wow was that the Gardens? Well done!
Lets chat some time. I am at work now, maybe tonight.
Yesterdays hero was the former Parisian M. Sakho, now at Livpool FC

Let me know how the chat goes. And remember, you can always say that deals are never final unless we both agree. Personally, I would include a bit of honesty (e.g., you're quite far ahead even with us getting The Gardens, and other teams want us to stop you) but mostly to keep our intentions vague (e.g., we don't want to tell them that we're trying to get Rome to attack them).
