Yeah, it sure is. A lot of our plans are contingent on Rome sending that power elsewhere. We're trying to keep a close eye on them to give us warning if it does look like they're going to attack us after all. Here's a composite shot of Rome from this latest turn:

They've been pretty successful in keeping their main stack hidden. Right now we're assuming it's in their capital, but it could also be in that other fogged city. I did some quick napkin calculations, and I think they probably have 35-40 praets right now. We have about 10 axes protecting our two border cities. If those praets start coming towards us, we should get 5-6 turns warning before they can reach any cities. We'd stop everything, whip out axes everywhere, switch research to Construction and whip out cats everywhere once that comes in. I hope that would be enough to slow down their attack after a couple razed / captured cities, then we can start moving in against them assuming our allies do their job of attacking Rome's rear and distracting troops and taking out cities.
