I must admit, it's been refreshing to slow down the pace and step away from this game for a bit. RL has been very hectic, both at work and at home, so the timing worked out well. But I owe you guys an update. It's only T119, so you haven't missed much.
Arki has been asking Caledorn to trade maps with us. It doesn't really gain us too much, but in the spirit of keeping the northerners happy with us, I obliged.

So we gained vision on Orgy's city of Alice, SuttOxy's city of Ventose, and all that land in between. To the east, we can now see some extra EggHeads cities. I assume they gained a lot of southern vision. But like I mentioned, this was more for the diplo boost, not the extra vision.
Our scout uncovered BowAivo's capital this turn. We'll keep scoping out their lands.
On the domestic front, we're continuing our mission of spreading religion everywhere. With our cheap temples, we're getting almost instant +2 happy (with a whip, so temporarily +1 happy) in all our cities we can spread to. We'll keep 2-pop whipping missionaries in the newly Christian cities, to overflow into temples.
We're still building wealth in a lot of cities. We'll finish CoL next turn to start on Courthouses, and then we'll get Monarchy. After that we'll research construction. Unless Rome attacks us, in which case Construction comes next. They have started pulling away their sentry chariots, so we believe the attack is coming soon. Still most likely to go against Dinos, but I guess we'll know for sure soon enough.
Meanwhile, on the foreign front, SuttOxy got the Music Artist this turn, and will start their first 12-turn GA. That'll let them switch civics and convert to a religion. While in the GA, they can complete the Great Library and zoom on ahead to Lib. They are now very clearly the frontrunners by a long shot.
