Turn 177 preamble
Excitingly Pindicooter took a second city from Mack... Looks like they didn't need to make all that fuss in the tech thread after all!
We can get our great person from Cannae in two turns at the cost of starving one pop, or in three turns with no cost. Stupid blockade. At this point I don't think having the golden age a turn earlier helps particularly does it?
This turn we'll draft Dunkirk, France, Midway and Nuremburg. Next turn it'll be Cannae, Konig, Issy and somewhere else before switching to Bureau. I think we want to stick with Pacifism for the next set of five turns too, as the golden age is a good time for great people.
Looks like we have to abandon Barca this turn
(should really have pillaged the road on his tile, but he'd just have combat roaded it back). I guess he'll raze it since it's indefensible for both of us, but lets see what happens.
Finally I asked Pindicooter for another 200 gold - it might get us MT a turn earlier, so I thought it was worth asking. I'll play in a couple of hours, so if you have any comments give me a shout.
