yeah, too risky to leave him in the open. if we lose him, let's lose him to bad luck and not unjustified risk-taking 
it would be useful to hear back from the ottomans re: barb animal sightings. their thread's been very active since we met in-game so i wonder why they aren't answering...
i'd like to move relatively soon, i'm a bit fearful we'll get a "reputation" as we've been among the last to end turn several times. it shouldn't matter since we're on a 24-hour timer, but you know it probably does.
