Well, we haven't told them anything yet as well! They took one look at our message, and saw that it consisted of nothing new. I can't blame them for answering in the same way.

It's not free information. You don't have to tell them we were planning on moving Tricky away anyhow. But they need to think we are being courteous in moving him away from their unprotected capital.
