Oh don't get me wrong! The AI on Impossible ALWAYS terrifies me! But with careful planning and forethought the risk can be minimized. The Alkari and to a lesser extent the Sakkra are terrifying, but the rocks and the brains are not. Well the brains' alliances are, but that isn't exactly the same thing. So yes, we need to consolidate what we have while expanding to stay competitive. My plan at this point would be to move counterclockwise swallowing the Silicoids, Psilons, Sakkra and Alkari in order and dealing with the Meklar as they require. At this point we are still relatively underdeveloped but we are poised to surf our increasing size and development to become quickly dominant.
