This is a speedbump, nothing more. A big part of the reason I joined the RB community was the attitude displayed by its members when faced with adversity and this is the perfect situation to show we belong.
We've got one of the best economies in the game; we're in an excellent diplomatic situation; we've got 3 heads to figure out how to overcome this problem; our leader/civ traits will come to the fore in the mid to late game; and we have hundreds of turns to turn our fortunes around.
