OT4E seems to almost be taking care not to provoke or tempt a kill of any kind.. weird. OH on the other hand... seems to be moving/keeping his chariot in positions that make it hard to want to be long term friends with the guy.. i think im going to test him by leaving my worker unguarded pasturing the cow in Damnation. If he takes the hammer trade, i take his chances of winning down the tube. I settled Sol Ring this turn, and ill settle another soon-to-be-named city next turn. This... doesnt put me anywhere near the leaders in cities, but it does keep me in the pack. Im going to likely unwisely, pause on settler production to get some infrastructure down before the Music-Golden age. Using the golden age to swap to buro/caste, crank out some scientists for a future astro bulb. Meanwhile teching IW/calendar and heading down the astro line. I wont be the first, but i should beat my neighbors to it. My gold production at 100% gold is #1 from what i can see, with total beakers being limited by my lower population/less cities. This will all change once i get my UB up in several cities which will push my cities upto 4 trade routes! Ive got plenty of far flung neighbors to keep open borders with, so if i snag some OH cities when he goes to war next... i shouldnt be hurting too badly. If Donovan didnt have a land neighbor in the form of Pro-Skirms i would probably grab his land instead/as well.
I think long-term plan is Bulb astro, take someones land, while slowly expanding south into what seems to be my own "big" island. OMW to Astro, im pretty sure i need machinery, which will give me maces to attack with.. :D
If any lurkers want some images/screenshots, let me know how you want them uploaded for your convenience. Thanks!

"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow.
In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."
