T48.
Fimi's settler did an end run around me.
It settled, just a little farther out.
Declared and pushed an axe and the warrior in.

Oops, fumbled the shot of the units. He has his starting archer, and 3 warriors. A couple are injured, but they will be healed before I get all 5 axes there.
he's got another settler, completely unescorted, to his east. (on the tundra woods e-ne of his copper).
My warrior will step on his copper next turn, but his worker ran away anyway. It will pillage the copper.
And then it will chase that eastern settler. He might have a screening warrior out there, but if it's empty I'll burn that one too.
Actually, upon writing the bottom half of this post, nevermind. Warrior will head to the capital after pillaging. I might need it to cleanup a badly wounded unit.
Whipped the spear in my cap. Adjusted tiles (I'm -1 food this turn) to put another axe out the following turn with the overflow.
My settler can't settle anyway, spot is invalid until I burn his new city.
So axe+spear will walk over there and burn that too.
When I get my axes to his capital.
He could have archery.. In which case I stall out.
If he has a bunch of warriors.
First axe attacks. It has about a 50% chance to get the archer down below 48hp. If the archer stays above 48hp, next axe hits the archer again.
If the archer drops below 48hp, the warriors move to the top of the stack (assuming fully healed and fortified).
So. 1st axe lightly wounds archer and dies. 2nd axe hits it hard (below 48hp) and dies. Axes 3,4,5 kill warriors at 78%.
Next turn 3 axes take CR1 and hit again.
Worst reasonable-odds case (without him hitting archery). I spend 3 axes getting his archer below the threshold to hit it, without killing it. Then there is no point in attacking his warriors, as I can't kill enough of them, and his archer will promo-heal the next turn. So my axes just choke him eternally while I do other things.
