Right, I missed SCIENTIST. They often work internationally. I now lean SCIENTIST for our third guess.

My thinking here is to not overthink this. Giving a clue like International when one of BEIJING/AMERICA is not an intended word feels unlikely.

Also, from my perspective AMERICA in Codenames can mean the continents North America and South America and not just the United States of America.

Yeah, the calculus goes something like this - it's maybe 50% America, or 50% somewhere in the rest of the field, but we have no idea what one, so America is the better individual bet, and more likely no-worse-than-gray.
