BrickAstley missed last turn, but played this one.
Demogs indicate that Dazed/Scooter built a warrior, suggesting a PH plant, and Ceiliazul popped a tech. This tech could be any of the techs left to them that give 2k power:
Animal Husbandry
Sailing
Hunting
No idea which one.

Not much has happened. I gave up on my C&D because I missed too many Demogs shots and am now hopelessly confused. Hannibal is healing up after killing a lion (3/4XP, but very low health). I still haven't met anybody. I'm making a note to give screenies and what not tomorrow.

Red Alert!
Commodore moved onto the hill 1NE of his current position last turn (T30) after I played, and I didn't see him until I'd moved my warrior one extra tile. So I expect if he invades he's going to pillage my corn tiles, and there's not much I can do about it. Not good.

I switched to a warrior build, as I'm going to need 2 warriors around here to deal with the situation, if not 3. I don't want to be at the mercy of a fastmove here.

So I've got a Shock Warrior choking me. After both of us played T32:
There's not a thing I can do if he goes for pillaging my corns (which would suck). He could also move 1W and force me to move my worker AND rush the warrior. With Combat I + Shock, he'd get some odds to kill me with a 1-warrior capital (20-30%? He's below 100HP, so I can't run the odds precisely). This would have never happened if I'd made the other T0 move, as the PH plant would've given me more warriors to play with. Instead, I went fast and loose with the opening, and am getting burned pretty badly here. I need to pull out my worker from where he was farming; losing the worker would likely be GG for me.

edit, never mind, wrong game. PBEM34 had the CG3 archers, not here.

Based on the combat calculator I have, a 95 HP shock warrior vs a fresh warrior in a city has about 30% odds to win. If you can get your other warrior in the city, obviously you'll be safe

That sounds reasonable. The problem is that whoever moves first on T34 would have that choice.
After my T33, but not his:
