The only issue with that is that some teams have multiple turn players. Like for us, it seems to alternate between myself and Mortius at various times depending on when the turn comes to us. I'm on the East Coast of the US (EST) and he's somewhere in Europe I believe, so we got most times covered between the two of us.

This might be actually possible. I need to find a moment to run a test pitboss to check on some stuff, but I think it should be doable to patch a working method using inbuilt pitboss mail notification mechanism coupled with a plain old mailing list ( remember those thing anyone? ). Stay tuned.

Yeah...I also remember you saying you weren't a programmer . Given the mileage RB got out of your PBEM tracker I'd say you are pretty good at it.
