[SPOILERS] DaveV plays Furia: What, me worry?

Turn 66. Lots of land in the north.

I finished a settler, so city #5 will be established next turn.

Turn 67. I had workers in position to build a road so my settler could establish my new city without being exposed to wild animals.

In the north, my scout found a bend in the land bridge, and a turtle.

The turtle is radiating light, is it from Fukushima?

I could see the turtle when my scout was standing on the coastal tile northeast of his current position and I had vision on that tile. Then I pasted him into the end-of-move screenshot.

Turn 68. Everything is in place to build city #6 next turn.

I could have moved the future freak show (off screen to the east) onto the soon-to-be-roaded plains tile so that he could build his freak show next turn, but I didn't think it was worth the risk of dying to an animal.

The new city of Don Martin allows me to safely explore some tiles, and looky there:

One of the huts I missed. I'll wait and grab it with a hunter, scout, or goblin to increase my chances of popping a tech.

Speaking of my scout, he's still alive and still exploring:

The demos are still depressing. I hope they'll improve after Code of Laws comes in.

Turn 69. As promised, I built my sixth city.

Two new freaks were born.

Freak show material.

A keeper.

My scout found another fish.

My scout is on his way back home. He finds another island along the way.

At EoT I (finally) finished Code of Laws. Maybe that will help pull my economy out of the doldrums.

Turn 71. My scout is on his way home, risking exposure one more turn before hitting heavy terrain.

I finally finished Code of Laws at EoT, revolted to Aristocracy. I definitely should have waited with the revolt to Apprenticeship. This has not been my A game banghead

Turn 72. The scout is still alive, and has almost reached my borders.

My griffon is using the new city borders to push back the fog a little.

Demos have gone from embarrassing to merely bad.

Turn 73. The scout has almost made it back home, where he'll sit around a few turns then upgrade to a hunter.

The bear lair is doing its job. Also, note the barb city borders. Time to build Loki and put him to work.

Overview of my core. Hunting because hunters will be able to capture bears (if a freak is ever born with Combat I), and because it will give me a couple more sources of happiness.

My alarm system is triggering again.
