minor issue ... shield Specialization classified as buckler, light or heavy ... not large
putting skills in swim might be an exerise in futility, given that its misc modded with twice the check penalty (and another -3 from medium load, which you're likely looking at, which is also doubled) ... which means that you, have a whooping -12(if not -18) before positive modifiers ... in other words, you'd probably swim about as well as stone regardless ...
All that said, i'd highly suggest that you leave Fighter after level 2 or with some strecth level 4 ... Knight is so much better, not the least because they're the only class with something looking like MMO Taunting ... and Crusader have some stances that are effectively close to doing the same thing

Yeah already updated Swim ranks into Intimidate and took Arena Blood. Fixed Large/Heavy.
Well see about Knight. I'll take it under advisement. The whole idea of this guy though is to basically be using his shield as aggressively as possible. Right now he is basically dual wielding the sword and shield with only a -2 penalty on each. Then with charge giving trip and slam giving daze.

my main issue is that Fighter, is that its not a good class beyond dipping for feats, which means that beyond level 2 unless going for something specific, just aren't that hot. ... keep going on that road (Fighter) and most other characters (specially the local warblade) could make you feel underpowered and thats not something I'd want if i can help it

Well I think it's probably a good idea to take knight at level 3. I should be able to get cleave at level 3 then still grab shield charge and shield slam at lvls 6 and 9, if we get that far.
The benefits of knight fit with my Shield plan, though I think taking the 2 levels of Fighter for the bonus feats are important for shaping the character the way I want to play him.
I'll switch him to Lawful Good. Though for RP purposes I probably want to take Steadfast Loyalty instead of Arena Blood.

Starting gold is the average, rather than having to roll?
I'm also assuming that we're not allowed to swap out the bonus feat.

What, you're not planning a social Rogue?
It's ok, I can do it. I know everyone will be interested in the natural world too, that makes a perfect icebreaker.

The plan is, when we meet new people, I sneak up behind them and stab them for lots of sneak attack hold pleasant conversations while they're mildly distracted by the fact I appeared out of thin air right behind them as they were watching the only entrance.
If they spot me before then, you're good to share your terraforming-of-urban-regions project ideas with them. Hopefully it'll distract them to the point where I can get a sneak attack off close enough to have a proper conversation.

yes
yes, mainly due to the fact that it is a free bonus feat that i'm running not unalike how i tend to run regional feats in Faerûn
so ... to recall
if anyone (Sixth) have a large interest in playing a Wizard (of some variant) focusing on utility and a bit of buffing that would be great, but certainly a workable party as is.
