Hmm, don't have a TV, but that gives me an idea - maybe if I set my monitor resolution to something very square and then run the game in fullscreen mode, that could work? Worth trying when I get home I suppose.

I've been thinking a bit more about that spot and I think its just too aggressive for my 7th city, and I should just settle where I planned (c or d). However, if that spot is still open for my 8th city, whose settler is coming only a few turns later...

He's FOUR TURNS from CoL on turn 70, jesus christ. And here I thought we were bold with the Math beeline! I knew his GNP was insane but not THAT insane. Ranking-wise, we're only a few ranks behind him! For the love of god, someone please land the Oracle already, if he has that lined up to finish on the same turn, it is VERY BAD for us!!

On an unrelated note, I had the change to chat for a bit to spacetyrantxenu in game as he was playing his turns... not about the game or anything, but just to chat. Very nice guy. He couldn't understand my sentiment that its as much fun to get mad at losing at games as it is to be happy about winning them. I guess I'm a weirdo there, but, thousands upon thousands of games of dota2 and dead roguelike characters have taught me that this is the only way to game...

Food is lookin a little low because I just whipped, but that will keep growing up quickly I feel. Just goes to show how much TBS's GNP is COMPLETELY INSANE. I have no idea how high it is because the lurker civ is solidly in first place, but the demo charts make it look like its about +50% higher than ours, and we're in 4th place! Oxy's is higher than ours too, but then he's creative. He's crushing us in just about every category, but that's Catherine for ya.

t74 isn't crazy quick for Code of Laws... although it IS crazy that the Oracle is still out there.

The stars aligned and it turns out that TBS is only ONE turn away from CoL, not 2. However... Parkin is playing both TBS and Hashoosh. Ceiliazul, is there any chance you could convince Parkin to declare war on himself? Truly, it is his destiny! Civil Service or no, that could work out very well for us!
