Some of you may wonder how my early plan to run a lat- game specialist economy worked out. Well, here is a one of a few "pure" samples of it (most of my cities are some kind of hybrids or forge-cities or useless villages). Overall, it is working satisfactory, given that I seem to be the first in "normalized" GNP. At least, my gold income at 0% science is unmatched (but not everyone has stock exchanges and a shrine over a 100 gpt worth...). On the other hand, this is kind of supposed to be the case, given that I'm still first in land.
However, observe my situation with happy and health (of which this city is a typical example). Happy is especially a concern. Basically, I'm one large battle away from a civ-wide riot, if this battle happens outside my territory. I think, I will have to spend beakers on Fascism - something I would really prefer not to do in a tight space race...

I have a feeling that Joey wants to steer up trouble yet again. While me and Gawdzak were cutting military production while cutting military research trying to shift things into a new equilibrium, where we all don't build units but tech very fast, Joey refused to follow suit and continued to cranc out military. It's OK in vacuum but... given the geopolitics Joey is the most likely loser in any war, given that he has two fronts to defend. Really, what's wrong with this guy?

Also, we are at the stage where things like this are already serious. Joey is currently noticable behind in space race, lacking Computers and even Plastics. He has to do something with his current military advantage to compensate for this.

...and he needs to do one of two things:

1) To cripple BOTH of us as crippling one won't do anything.

2) To defeat one of us decisevly, so that he can expand his resource base fast enough for this to matter in a space race.

I don't see either (1) or (2) happening. Another option is to take 2metra's land. It should be very easy by now and dtay is currently very weak, it doesn't look like he would be able to do anything. Actually, I think it makes most sense...

Also, I was afraid that Plako would steal Radio wonders from me but Rock n Roll was built by Gawdzak, of all people. I can't fathom why as he needs every bit of his mfg and doesn't need neither culture nor happiness. May be, just to deny it to Plako. Anyway, I offered him Hit Musicals for Hit Singles deal. I think, he should reject as this deal benefits me much more. But it won't harm to ask...

OK, this is pretty ridiculous: Gawdzak also claimed Eiffel Tower which he absolutely didn't need. Pretty bad: I wanted it for a culture war with Joey in the south.

Cheap way to screw with a Plako CV shot, right?

Well, Plako currently has no shot at CV, tower or not: he was generating culture too slowly and now it is simply too late. I now think that he never seriously wanted to get, it more looks like a back up plan.

Internet in two turns and given that Gawdzak is at 100% science now, he is pretty far from it (one is expected to save gold before the Internet is built and spend it after that). Also, I decided to skip Fascism. Joey finally followed Gawdzak and stopped building units, so it looks like both my rivals don't consider military option seriously. Also, I'm very likely to have GA in 12 turns. Surprise!

Got the Internet. It brought me about 500 additional bpt. Pretty lot but this is because my multipliers suck: Gawdzak and Joey took out my most developed cities.
Also, I'm now second in power and Joey started another seemingly pointless war with 2metra: no cities changed hands in two turns and this is in a modern era! Really, that thing which is going on between Joey and 2metra is one of the biggest mysteries for me in this game.
