Bobchillingworth, to answer your question, turning on the resource icons from the overview map screen just leads to a garbled mess. Try it sometime, you can't see anything. If anyone wants a close look at individual starting positions, just watch the setup video starting at about 35:30, where I go through and take a look at all of them. It's a lot easier than posting seven distinct screenshots.

Tasunke, did you include an entry via the prediction form I posted a little bit above? It's much easier for me when all of the entries are grouped together there, as opposed to being posted here in a forum, where I have to manually enter them one at a time.

Voldymort, glad to hear that you're enjoying the games, but only one prediction please to avoid confusion. You can wait and think it over since there's a full week between each game before the submissions are due. Thanks.

If I think of it and can sit down to watch the game, I can type up a sort of 'livetweeting'/blog on notable events in the game to post afterwards for those so inclined, as long as Sullla has no objection. Don't want to step on his toes here.

Neat that this is happening again - shame about the lack of written reports though. I'd prefer to spend 15 minutes reading a condensed summary than 4 hours watching a video. That said, the live twitch stream looks like fun... but unfortunately a Saturday noon start time in the eastern US translates to Sunday 6am here. Might catch the final minutes from time to time though.

Yeah, I think for the ISDG fiasco reports seem preferable for communicating information while streams are more for entertainment value. I mean, it's one thing to read about Mao nuking a third of Pericle's army of doom, it is another to see it happen. It would be nice if someone could either write a recap of the game or live tweet it.
