Also, your plan is unclear about whether to found city#4 by T214 or 215.

I could scrounge up enough beakers on 217 to finish Lib at end of turn, primarily from building research at capital and reassigning scientists to furs and mines, while also building research at city #2. It's a little tight though and should be confirmed closer to eta.

correct. We can even work iron with 4th citizen on T203-204, and on T205, work 2/1/0 and 2/0/1 to get to T206 with 0 foodbox left. Tested this variant and this is much better economically since PP is done on T206.

Where to found new city will depend on the rest of the map since I think this city should be reaching as much as possible. But in the test game, I planted N of jungled pig on T214 but this city will run artist for 2 turns while building culture.
Another correction. Need to work 2/1/0 instead of fur on T209 also in cap.
Build culture in 2nd city on T210 and queue settler for culture bug? But I can't believe that there is a controversy about this...
I think you should test again because you should be able to finish the worker EOT214 with hammers to spare. LB should be done EOT216 so 2nd city can start a settler on T217. Do not build research at 2nd city.
Good call on building research in capital instead of settler while working scientists.
On T215 I highly recommend actually moving 2 workers to forested hill E, and SE of 2nd city.
Now we can still hit EOT217 lib by building research in cap (working horse instead of a 3/0/2), 3rd city (after whipping worker, do not complete but build research working corn and 1/2) and 4th city. 2nd city really needs to start settler this turn. Do need to test if this will slow settler production in cap for next cycle.

For extra beakers we can have 2nd city on research and build a very needed worker then lb 2 turns each then start settler or delay buildout of 4th city by running only scientists until T217 that would be map dependant. Or is EOT218 good enough? Want to test how fast mansa or suleiman can rush lib?

If we're in caste and need to pop borders for new city, running free artist is better than engineer especially since culture bug is banned.

I guess. When GJ jumped in, the situation made me fairly mad. I think this will be my last RB Civ4 game since the tabletopia mod for Codex is releasing soon and Civ6. Maybe the rumored MBP upgrade due September can run it.

If the culture bug is banned, I think we should have the 2nd city build research on T217 and then build a worker then longbow. In my sims I was short a longbow to cover new cities, and workers are even more important since the new cities need to get running faster than before without culture overflow into worker.
