Fixed the above issues and came to a conclusion that the barb city isnt worth the maintenance or trouble to capture considering where it spawned. Its going to be a huge military sink, and its in a not very secure location for ANYONE. Working on dotmapping, and worker "micro" but we should have our 4th city by the stone followed by a 5th city shortly after. No ETA on the stone city yet.

Really hoping that barb warrior to our east doesnt cause us any trouble. We can whip/chop archers when needed, and i think i might have the overflow from the capital's granary go into an archer for the stone city.
Upto 5 workers, 3 cities, and #1 in food. Not bad so far.

Pretty exciting turn. Met both BGN, and DZ. BGN came with a warrior from the east, so i assume he is somewhat close. DZ came from the north, im assuming past cornflakes, with a scout. Just gotta contact Wetbandit and we will have the full set! In other news, next turn we chop 2 forests into granaries with the overflow from one completing an archer. ALSO Cornflakes is heading towards the barb city with an axe.. so thats what he spent a whip or two on.. Would explain him being at 2 cities still. Speaking of two cities, Elkad is STILL at 2 cities. That cannot be good, is he going for a DZ strategy of wonder building? Got bad barb rolls? Ill be very curious to find out. ( im also watching his power graph HARD, as he may or may not hold some sort of grudge from pb40. ) JR4's 3rd cities borders expanded, yay.

Stone city settler due in like... 5ish turns? With stone hooked up somewhere in the region of 15 turns from now. AH-Masonry- Writing. ( this is the longest ive gone without researching writing in i think... any game. Its weird what you can do with a good dedlurker.

Going double settler via chops. Settling stone city, followed by gold/cow/possibleSheep city. That will cement out northern border, and we can continue heading east where BGN came from. AH due in 2 turns, Masonry due in 10 turns or so, and mids due in 20-25 turns from now.. i think. Stay tuned!

AH is in, we have 3! sources of horses. Most of them in pretty convenient spots. Not counting the tech increase from hooking up the furs, we are on track to complete masonry right as we settle the stone city, AND finish the barracks on our Ted Bundy city. That will give enough time to finish the stone, road the stone, and start chopping. If we land the mids, i dont see us losing this game. We have too much easy land, our neighbors dont seem super aggressive, they cannot really dogpile without leapfrogging.. Should be interesting. Ill post pics tomorrow.

Still going strong. Going to be planting another city in 3-4 turns, and another one 3-4 turns after that. Hoping to land the Mid's in roughly 15 turns from now, but i havent sat down and math'd it.
Current opponent observations:
Elkad- What is he doing? Dying to barbs? Crazy non-military gambit? Jumped in the game too quick, and is now mega busy? So many questions. I guess ill find out when he is the first eliminated.
BGN- Upto 4 cities, warrior came from the east, im going to assume in the vast darkness he is there somewhere. Hopefully i can get a better border city than the one im planning on for JR4 on the sheep/floodplains to our east ( where the warrior is ) If he leverages IMP vs crashing eco.. could be interesting.
Cornflakes- Seems to be doing pretty good, also is top power/close to top. His economy likely isnt doing all that great, but im sure he will manage.
JR4- Our main rival for this game. Goal is to not be a target, and then take a bite out of them. They are doing fantastic, but then again they have Refsteel + others putting in likely hours and hours of microplanning, something i just dont have time to do. ( and no not because im in multiple pitboss's )
Donovan- Out to an early score lead, and 4 citiies! Impressive. Curious how he runs this game. Need open borders to go scouting around..
Wetbandit- No idea, havent found him yet. Shouldnt be doing terribly?

Somebody knows his reputation.
But I have to say I would find it hard to switch between normal BTS and RtR.

Update:
We grab Masonry EoT, and will be connecting stone in less than 4?ish turns. I hope to have the mid's mostly wrapped up by the mid 70's? Ill see what i can micro out once i get stone hooked. Planted our 4th city a little late compared to the main competition, but we are #1 in food now with a FRESH 4th city. Hoping to keep that, and grow all the cities another population or two once we get our 5th city settled and gold hooked up. DZ has 5 cities now, and im curious where he is exactly. Same with Wetbandit. I hope one of these guys is planning on hurting JR4 sometime soon, i dont want him to be competitive if i can help it.

EoT we will have over 1/4th of the mids done. Hoping to have it done within 10-15turns depending on a couple things. Mids city grows EoT as well, so more production that i will have to factor in..
Confirmed while i was in game, Wetbandit is the current food lead. According to graphs, JR4 is the only other close competitor.. ( dont have BGN/DZ's graphs yet ) Elkad has been building units, or a bunch of barracks as his power is fairly high... i really hope THIS game isnt ruined by a chariot rush.. ![mischief mischief](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/mischief.gif) Plan is to go Writing-Math-currency atm, but could possibly go with alpha instead of math. Next planned city is another Cornflakes border city, the Cow/Gold/(possible Sheep ) city. Followed by either a Elkad border city, or our yummy Fish/crab/silver/marble/deer city.

ETA on the mid's is roughly t 76-78 atm. Had a barb axe pop up to the south east, had to whip a chariot.. ![frown frown](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif) Should be in good condition even if we dont land the mid's.
