[NO PLAYERS] Squaring the Circle of Sevens (For Nine) - Map and Lurker Thread

1. Mr. Cairo
2. Ruff
3. Miguelito

Correct?

So Mr. Cairo was double moved.

This is all correct.

Agree play can continue, but if this happens again we might need to think about what to do. These double moves although not intended happened to often in this game.

I'm already thinking about how to put turn order into code. Like preventing a player from login.

The Spanish Apolyton mod (which 2metraninja would know more about) enforces behavior like this. As a word of caution, it was used in the intersite demo game and made play absolutely miserable for everyone. (But an old timer who was actually playing those turns would have more info.) I'm sure there's a clean way to do it; I wish you luck finding it.

Apart from Ruff in this game (no offense intended towards Ruff), have we been having problems with double moves?

Not really, so I won't force a mediocre code solution.

Oh I didn't mean to suggest it wasn't doable! If memory serves (and it's been a loooong time) the problem was that the mod extended the timer flexibly, so each player in a split had an equal amount of time, which led to turns lasting for days. But I'm pretty sure they did get the log in restriction working. (Apologies for threadjack.)

Yeah, it's definitely possible, but I found the solution to be arguably worse than the problem.

Increasingly looks like Fintourist has this sealed up. He had already nosed ahead, but with his only two competitors fighting each other, I don't see any other possible result. He hasn't won yet, but he has the means to deliver knockout blows without compromising himself.

FT could really backstab Cornflakes now and be done with it, but maybe he's just enjoying the game and happy to play on?

This game is in a weird spot. I disagree with Cornflakes giving anyone other than himself or Fintourist a > 0% chance of winning. Ruff has no chance. This is a two horse race.

In theory, Cornflakes could absolutely get back into this by absorbing Commodore's land. In reality, I fully expect Fintourist to stab him the minute it looks like he's going to succeed, and that'll be the GG.

It appears we are officially done with both Commodore and Cornflakes conceding. Someone sanity check me?
