[SPOILERS] Team EggHeads: DMOC and TeddyKGB (Now Lurker-Friendly!)

Thanks for the detailed report! goodjob

1. I don't think there's anything too pressing I noticed, other than the fact that we're only working 6 cottages, which will hopefully increase once we get Princeton going, and that we need more workers (though from the looks of the screenshots, the workers are going where they need to be, i.e. the new cities).

2. I'm glad we're still working the scientists … (were we the first to get a Great Person? If so, that's great news!) can't hurt to get our second one faster, for possibly a bulb or a second academy (Stanford?). Since Mathematics is coming up, I assume some of the workers will need to stop and road/pre-road their tiles if we want to maximize hammer usage.

3. If it's very unlikely to get the Monotheism religion, it might make more sense to just research Currency ASAP, then beeline Monarchy. Sound like a tech plan?

4. On turn 86, do you still agree in switching UC Berkeley to an Aqueduct?

On my TODO list (hopefully I can do this tomorrow? lol) :

1. Respond to Asterix about any chance of cooperation
2. Suggest possible settling deals with Orygnized. We're a little pressed for city costs right now, so I'm not sure how fast we'll get our 9th city.
3. Talk to India about extending NAP to turn 130. Will they be suspicious that it's at the same time that Asterix's ends? We might also ask them specifically about Monotheism, or if they're really nice they might even let us research Monotheism first. I doubt that happens, though.
4. Get a brief NAP with English, though I'm not sure we want a Defensive Pact. Rome has every motivation to attack the English (Weaker team, closer cities, larger border, etc.) over us, so it might be risky to commit to a D-Pact.

I kinda don't like what Yos is doing. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but he waited till I finish t84 and moved Quechua close to our 2 workers and logout right after turn rolls.
We have 1 spear and 2 chariots in the area to cover workers.

Didn't move any military units yet.

He asks me to let it through our land back to his home and I said 'sure'.

That's fine, let the quecha through.

Any comments on some of the below points?

Sorry for delay.

T85 done.
We finish Math. Asterix finish Calendar it seems. Yos finish Math also.
Didn't talk with Yuufo about his Monotheism timing yet.

Quote:4. On turn 86, do you still agree in switching UC Berkeley to an Aqueduct?

Timing for Mids is T92 in UC.
Timing for HG is T91 in UC.

Mids is less than 50% chance cause India could probably get GE/GP faster, but its good even as a failed gold - allow Currency+Monarchy at 100% slider or close.
HG could be compete by SutOxy. They had math for some time now, so could prepaire aqueduct and they will connect stone pretty soon, I suppose (maybe already did).

I think Mids is much better for us, but that also paint bigger target sign on us and located in UC Mids aren't safe.

We'll probably have a better shot at actually landing THG than Pyramids. But if there's another city that can grow we should definitely invest some hammers in The Pyramids. either way we should be getting a substantial amount of gold.

Sorry for being a bit out of commission today, i've got a major project due tomorrow.

Next turn Yuufo should finish GP with 54GPro+48GEng result.
I'll try to keep both options open till then.

T86.

Whip settler in Stan. Whip worker in Cornell.
UC is waiting till GP pop for CareBears next turn. Same timing for Mids or HG as before. Some workers action not optimal here, but nothing else I can think of.
Orgy show chariot near Stanford, we'll had to make some deal soonish. Moved some units around to cover if needed.
Slider at 0% again. 2sci keep working in CM.

Asterix start Currency at 0% slider. Switch EP on GG.
Asterix OB with Rome.
SutOxy didn't connect stone yet.

Cities.

GG has open borders with Asterix? frown Are they communicating with each other?

Anyway, with regards to Pyramids vs Hanging Gardens, you're right in that the Mids is probably best for us at this point. If Care Bears doesn't get an Engineer, want to go for Mids?

I'll try to comment on the worker micro at some point, soon.

Mids is much better, I agree. High risk, tho.
But HG is good mostly to deny it to other teams.

If it GP for India I would definately would like go for Mids.
If we fail, we had some gold to run for Monarchy.
If we fail HG, there will be 100h wasted on aqueduct.

Where do you wanna plant city#9?
We got settler next turn.
I was thinking of closest possible plant vs Yuufo's pinkdot. With cow, 2 spices and some shared tiles with Cornell.
