Plako's second Golden Age just ended. Here are the demographics now:
Our own Golden Age ends in a few turns. A shame... but I guess three dozen turns isn't too bad a run, all things considered.
Here's the power graph. Locke's obviously had some rather major losses recently (good on you, Adlain). Otherwise, not much to report. Plako seems to be the only one doing any serious building up right now.

And on another note, it seems we've hit the 1000 post mark in this thread. Third past the post after Plako and Rego, but still not a bad effort.

This has to be the first time I've seen triple Golden Ages back to back to back in a MP game.

Normally I would have waited on the third one, but by the time the second one was ending it was pretty clear several people were gearing up for war with me. In that situation, it was pretty much a case of "use it or lose it", so I figured what the heck.

I've done it once on some Gamespy game once, pretty impressive how many turns it puts you ahead of everyone else. And I felt I was playing poorly otherwise!
I really want to see what your baseline numbers look like afterwards.

Fun fact: our 0% research rate is close to exceeding 500 beakers per turn, despite only 2 Scientists presently being employed throughout our entire empire.
Give me 2 turns and I should break that barrier.

PBEM4 I managed four mausoleum powered G Ages consecutively. Although, greens game, so maybe it doesn't count.

Yeah, we had two PBEM4 games on the same map with different players (same civs/leaders, but different starting locations). The Greens game was called for Kyan some time ago; Krill's #1 in the AW Vets game, while I'm holding on at #2 and Whosit and Kylearan are still alive. Darrel and Sunrise are dead there; not sure how much thread-updating's going on at this point, outside of likely Krill. I haven't posted in 3+ months there, because there isn't much to post.

Ah, right. Sounds like an interesting concept, will have to have a read at some point.
