Rego's back from his vacation (I DedLurk him in two different games), but I don't know if he's done anything in this game or not.

Well the 6 pop draft city instantly regrows every turn and suffers no happy penalty. You can basically get a free unit at no cost every single turn.

I forget the exact food values you need but the size is about 6.

Rego is around and has played turns. I've poked him 3 days in a row in gmail and I sent him a message day ago. I'll probably look pretty desperate in his eyes lol. I've now given up. If Rego has been very busy he might come up, but at this point I need to prepare that he is against us. If he keeps his border cities defended as badly as now I might had to hit them to hopefully make our border more easy to defend, but all this is just cosmetic. We've no chance in a war against LP, if we can't focus fully there and I won't put everything there to give Rego easy times on ourn backyard.

We don't nescessarily need GT draft city since we enough bad cities to keep drafting for a long time.

Darn I can't resist whining about the map although it is just a enabler, but I think Krill deserves a little critisism here wink. We other players still had the keys to change this, but LP's diplomacy was spot on to give him the freedom he needed. I just feel that there is no way LP would have pulled out the stunt he did here, if he would have started from my place or pretty much any other spot. Being in the corner having lot of good uncontested land also in the tundra (2*food for most tundra cities is way better than what I got) that naturally belonged to his sphere of influence.

Go read the lurker thread after the game.

If anyone in our alliance has a NAP with Rego, can we cheese gift him our border cities and force them around?

I'll quote what I think is the ruleset (found in the first post int eh planning thread):
Quote:5) Gifting: Teams should act in good faith when gifting units, cities, techs, and/or gold to one another. Gifting and re-gifting back cities (to build a unique building) and units (for Heroic Epic purposes) is strictly prohibited. Gifting cities away as part of a peace treaty is allowable, but gifting cities away to third parties to prevent capture in war is forbidden.

It's my interpretation that gifting your border cities is prohibited by the final clause.

Who said about waiting until rego attacked us to gift?

The good faith clause would almost certainly lead to GES ruling it out of bounds.
