At this point, I think Sareln, Mero, uber, pindicator are all fine places to start. I understand the case against Ichabod from a pure "reads-as-wolf" perspective, but don't understand why we would go there and avoid the events just prior to the deadline.

It does look like a vote on pindicator may have the most effect - just 1.3 hours until deadline.

Also it looks like the mayor vote actually has come to the point where votes matter instead of being a landslide

Today, the village was shattered once more, upon finding their new mayor brutally murdered, worse than the last one. They turned their hopes to novice, a friend of the old mayor, but found his speech perplexingly parroting what he or others had already said. Nevertheless, he was still determined to be the most trustworthy by the rest, and was voted into the office of mayor.

The lynch vote was not so clear cut however. There were 4 main candidates heading into the final hours: Pindcator for his "testing" of people, Sareln for his lurking, Ichabod for having much ado about nothing, and Uberfish for walking and talking and voting all wolflike. There was such a flurry of vote changes as the sun poised to set, that no one was sure who would hang. As the church bells chimed to signify the end to the time of debate, a final tally was taken to see who would finally be killed. As novice readied his pistol, the men on the block all cried to him for salvation. The final vote tally was handed to novice, who nodded, aimed, and shot Sareln between the eyes; he cried out in surprise and agony, slumped over, and was no more. However, upon inspection of his body and his residence, the village couldn't find a shred of evidence linking Sareln to the mafia. They had miscalculated, and managed to kill one of their own in this dark hour.

Sareln was lynched. He was a villager.

Villager - You are a normal villager. You have decided to stand up to the mafia, and to do what it takes to root them out from your beloved town. However, you realize that you risk death in doing so, and that you are likely to be forced to embrace it.

See my previous post, he sort of voted for pindicator (bolded but not in red), who knows if it was intentional or not. However, he also changed his mayoral vote to the person not voting for pindicator.

Would you have looked a second at my tally, you would have seen that Ichabod would have hanged if you had switched. Because I was waiting for you to do so till the absolute last minute. And I really ask myself "Did catwalk really not know how it would work with the mayor, did he really not look at my tally, did he really start to question the rules 2 minutes before end of day, despite that we saw for the last 45 minutes that it would be close?".

Pretty sure that the target should have been Ichabod... but as catwalk couldn't decide what to do I did go with my gut, and there was more trust for you pindicator than for Sareln. Sareln, thanks for playing and sorry for lynching you.
