[SPOILERS] Cornflakes and Q Eat 'Em for Breakfast!

So its unlikely to effect the trade routes, but we want a big cap for trade missions.

If we get an GEngineer ... research Corporation, found Sid's Sushi in Doughnut, rush Wall Street? We do have Ikhanada after all, so -75% maintenance. It's worth considering, if we happen to roll a GEngineer. We'd need to spread the corporation to a hammer-heavy city like Blimp to start pumping execs. I'll not strategize any more along this line until we actually roll the GEngineer.

EDIT: but as noted earlier, we don't have much sushi resource ... time for some hammer in the name of capitalism lol

Sids needs medicine IIRC. GE for WS is a good idea though, but we need another 5 banks or so.

yes, yes, whatever ... minor technicalities duh ...

Rushing Wall Street would be inferior to TM's instant 1700g. Even with +100% on 40gpt from the shrine it would take over 40 turns to recoup that lump sum and we can slow build it in 20 turns, plus remember that Time Value of Money concept? Cash now is worth more than cash later. I really hope we roll that GMerchant, and I also hope that AT allows us to walk the two GM's down without killing them. Yep, I really just said I don't want to roll a GEngineer rolleye

And for all my high talk of trash the economy for hammers ... yep, you were right again. Mind the economy.

I still think espionage economy would be viable and superior to self researching (saving gold for a mad dash at techs when we really want them). We just have to trade Constitution off AT for Jails.

Ok, yes I'm also a noob so maybe all I'm saying is just smoke anyway. This is all a grand experiment, and by some miracle we seem to be near or at the head of the pack smug

But we are quickly progressing the point in the game where I have less and less experience. I rarely play SP much beyond Rifles, and I've never won in space. I'm off to bed now though. This was my long evening of civ after vacation to catch up mostly. I'll finish up looking through the cities and workers in the next day or two and ready to tackle the next month as we head on into the Modern Era. Strategy for the next 50 turns greatly depends on what the next GP rolls, so I don't think I'll be theorizing anymore about the future until he pops out. Due in 2 turns, EOT170.

Ok, I'm putting us on high alert. War with 2metra expected next turn, Commodore to expected to join. More to come in a moment, but please respond ASAP if you're online.

Also, don't move any units if you log in! I want as much flexibility as possible when drawing up our preparations plan, and moved units cannot be re-positioned.

Here's what led to my alert ...

If that stack is not headed for us then you can call me a monkey's uncle. There's no way that can mean anything but war. Also spotted a couple knights headed westward in the north.

I already drafted Pork Chop this turn, so we have 3 drafts left. We are out of Slavery so we can't use that, otherwise I'd like to get another catapult out of our eastern cities. All things considered I don't think we're in such a bad position here. His slow mover stack is still 3 turns away, and since we have the early part of the time we get 3 drafts (if wanted/needed) from our each of our eastern cities. Our biggest weakness will prove to be our lack of Catapults. Only 2 in the entire eastern half of our empire smoke smoke

Special thanks to our spy for the warning, since he may well have saved our bacon on this one with this an extra turn of warning.

Oh and see if we can complete those forts next turn, ready for a raze next turn.

Full preparations post to come, but Q raised an important point via email. By declaring on Commodore we can gain a turn in slowing down 2metra's stack by pillaging the road 3SE of Mars with the 2 impi that are currently sitting in Mars. I think this is a good idea, and will do so unless there is a strong objection. Commodore whipped/drafted 5 times last turn, and has been steadily building up forces on both fronts so I'm pretty certain he's planning to join the war. I'll offer peace immediately after pillaging those roads and see what happens. If he accepts, great! 10 turn NAP. If not, well at least we know where we stand lol ... wait for the full post and you'll see that we're pretty strongly defended on the southeastern front, unless Commodore walks his stack all the way over from it's recent war on the 2metra front.
