PBEM?

In the interest of moving things along, put me in the no events/huts group. I don't mind the idea in itself, but in the end it's a map perk more suited for single player.

OK, so hopefully WK won't mind playing with the huts/events on. Since he never got a chance to cast the vote, in the instance he's totally against it, will anybody from pool b mind coming over to pool A?

Is this now OK with everyody? If so I suggest each pool start their threads and go about selecting any other settings they want (or choose to allow the mapmaker discretion).

Yeah if WarriorKnight isn't nuts about playing in a huts/events game, then I'm sure someone from our group won't mind sliding over. I'd be willing to do it if no one else is. One issue is if WarriorKnight wants to play, meatbalz is probably squeezed out. Still no interest from a 12th player, and 5 players is somewhat preferred anyways just due to the nature of how a PBEM can get slowed down (see what's happened in PBEM4 for example).

If WarriorKnight does decide to play, meatbalz has a few options... Someone could offer him a spot on their "team" as an adviser/sub. He could keep himself unspoiled in case we need a permanent replacement at some point. If we DO get two maps, he could be an "adviser" on one and keep himself unspoiled in the other... Just a few ideas, as I'd hate to see him get totally squeezed out of this game.

Also, from this point we might want to make our separate threads. Let's put these in separate forums to avoid confusion... I'll PM Griselda asking for a PBEM6 and PBEM7 subforums... Pool A (the huts/events crew) can be PBEM6, and Pool B can be PBEM7. I'll create the the PBEM7 IT thread and we'll start sorting out play order and how we want to handle leaders, and you guys can do the same. Sound good?

RE: meatbalz, I think that's the best plan. Remain unspoiled or become a team member. If we get a 12th then I don't mind having 6/game either.

I might be able to get a PBEM 6 thread up and running later tonight (way later) but if somebody beats me to it, I wouldn't be disappointed. Thanks for getting the PM to Griselda, Scooter!

I was waiting for an RB Pitboss or PBEM game to start. There I go skipping a day of checking RB and they're already 11 pages of posts and lots of things spoken about.

If you have room for another, I want in. I'm quite familiar with Pitboss, but PBEM is new to me, but I can pick it up quick with help from these fine RBers.

I see that meatballz wants in as well. Perhaps we could go one to each game. If there's not a desire to go up to six, that's fine. If that's the case I'd accept an offer to be a team-member and help out.

Whoever started this idea was right on about there being an interest in another PBEM game.

I'd be more than happy to play in a third game with Kyan, meatballz and others.
