I'll have it I guess, the game was kind enough to give me extra 40g from a star sign event.

In that case there's no point in improving the tiles around where I was going to plant, not until we feel secure enough to build another settler. Your workers ought to help make the roads we need, I guess, or else return to your lands and improve around the dye site; settler will be en route shortly.
Feel free to chop any grassland forest in my lands if you want to speed my stable production; I need the plains forests to work.

Well, the turn started well:
Didn't get quite as happy a result from the Pyre popping; although I guess we don't have to worry about them popping it either anytime soon:
I think I'll just run the scout home and upgrade him to a horse. Sure, CI/Guerilla isn't exactly what I'd put on a horseman, but he won't be useless either. If I can get him home without spending that promo, he can take Shock after upgrading and be good for cleaning up axes.

We had an improptu blitz today, since me, Mist, and Ilios were all online at the same time. My first Flanking II horse is born and heading off to scout/harass Ilios, and I'll be mass producing more for a while, until we decide we're safe.

Just a heads up, I'll be on vacation from the 22nd through the 29th. If you could play my turns then, it'd be great.

Fairly successful turn militarily. I decided to try to pillage Ilios's Ygg; found one axe guarding it (unfortified). He was on flat ground, although he was also Combat I/ Enchanted Blade/Mobility 1, it looked like odds were in my favor using a pair of horsies. Ended up killing him without losing either horse, and then finding a pair of unguarded workers on the hill where my horse ended up; took and deleted them. Even if I lose both horses, I think it was worth it, and they might even survive.
The bad news is, after killing those, I still see three axes/2 warriors in plain sight, and his power rating is still well above mine. I'm hoping to be able to continue raiding like this and blunt his attack until there are some Mobility trebs on the scene, but I think I've got to remain 100% military to manage it. I'll feel a lot safer once you show up.
