[SPOILERS] Novice's nominal nonchalance

I think Math -> Calendar could work pretty well here. The HG is perfect for you, due to hamman being way better than a normal aqueduct (and helping with the happiness bottleneck). And the map has a lot of Calendar resources already (only one needing IW so far).

Oracle, while dangerous to go for, also has a minor drawback. Since you are spiritual, getting monotheism would help a great deal, in my opinion, due to easy access to an Org Rel revolt. Getting both Mono and Priesthood seems a bit wasteful of early beakers. Pyramids + Monotheism or even normal teching of Monarchy through Monotheism could be better.

Just bouncing some ideas.

Much appreciated.

Mono also synergizes with stone in that I'll need masonry.

Do you need masonry to hook stone if you settle on it? I would think so?
I have to run.

Yes.

ah, yes, you're spinning the camera around from space or something, confusing me wink. So I guess you can assume that one day there will be oil in that spot?
Actually that's quite nice, since you can unlock it with scientific method, instead of waiting for whichever tech it is that is required to build platforms.
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.

I dunno that it needs to be on oil does it? It's just put there in the world-builder.

Looks like we have two oils. tongue

Next turn it'll be time to reassess plans, with the discovery of copper. Our worker is ready, on our road network.
I have to run.

Serdoa researched BW, and I suspect he's building a Settler at the moment.

Seven's capital grew to size 3.

Nothing happened to Nicolae, and I suspect he's building a Settler.

Mackoti researched Wheel, grew his cap to size 4 & produced a Quechua.

(The latter two seem the most sensible way to assign the power changes ...)

I'm trying to figure out who has the highest GNP - given Serdoa & mackoti both finished techs it seems unlikely to be them as they probably don't have a tech selected. It could be Seven, he's just grown and can rack up a total of 7 commerce from tiles which would give him a GNP of 26 if he's researching a tech with a pre-req. Perhaps BW? Or it could be Nicolae if he's working the 2 tiles that have 3c for him, and is reasearching BW (coz of the met civ bonus).

Well, it seems you also have the 4th happines calendar resouce nearby. Expanding north and going Math -> Calendar can indeed be a good play. Problem is that I don't see a second city in the north that can rival the 3 food one down south.

This is the area that I have yet to defog:

Does it have to be one or the other? Can't it be both the 3 food one in the south then expand north? (Possibly a dumb question smile )
