I'm actually finding that lurking is kind of addictive.
Why post, when you can instead wait for others to post and learn something from that? I think I've spotted some guard tells, unfortunately not enough (or too many) to really conclude who the assassin is.
Anyway,
Serdoa needs to go today, but I suspect he's just a guard. At any rate, it doesn't hurt to plan ahead based on that assumption. So who should we lynch tomorrow? Maybe we could use some of this time to discuss that, without actually backing our suspicions with votes just yet. This way, we don't reach the "point of no return" too soon, people will have a chance to actually defend, and we run less of a risk of exposing non-kings. If we hit the assassin tomorrow, we stand a decent chance of winning (2/3, on the face of it), but if we leave it one more day he will have a 50-50 shot at the king, which could get dicey.
So that's why I'm delurking now, as I think this is the time to "step it up" and really try to nail down the assassin. Also, I'm mindful that I may be starting to look scummy for my recent lurking. But if I delurk now, I should at least be safe until after Serdoa hangs.
(Seriously though, I don't want to be sucker punched by a pair of quick votes right after dawn.)
On to the actual asshunting... consider that after Slowcheetah's death, Brick went right after Bigger, while Bigger and Scooter cross-posted to say that we must lynch Serdoa. What do we make of this? Also, for all his "leading" roleplay, Uberfish has really been a follower, all along. Seems like it must be tempting to just go whichever way the wind is blowing, as an assassin. I don't really get the feeling that he's "in the know", and I don't have any strong guard tells on him.
So I guess I'm leaning slightly towards Uberfish at the moment.
If you know what I mean.
