[BTS] Civ IV Newbie Succession Game - Monarch - Beginning now!

So I took about 40 screenshots and don't remember what they were for. This is why you don't play 20 turns in 30 minutes before bed.

So the save is already ready for pickup? Where do I find it? ^_^

I'll attach it to this post so you don't have to hunt for it

@Hart - I usually just make sure I take at least one per turn and look at the turn numbers to build a picture of what's happening. If you can't remember what you did, just describe each picture like a caption, haha.

So I immediately began whipping as many axes as possible. The first battle I captured the city and lost an axe. Then I found out that they had too many archers in the capital frown So I eventually found Machu Pichu, which I razed at the loss of also 1 axeman. We have a choice as to whether we want to pillage a cow pasture or wait for our culture to take it, as well as whether we want to spend one warrior on capturing a lone worker, which would be difficult due to worker speed.

We have 13 axemen (had build a total of 15), 12 of which can attack the capital t126, with all 13 being able to attack at t127. Attacking into archers on a hill is quite risky, so we might want peace but hard to say. Should I have captured rather than razed Machu Pichu on the other side of Cuzco? Since we are cultural we might could have even economically pincered in the nation. Still though, CAPTURING Cuzco would be a high priority preference to any 'peace' with this one city nation :/

Currently we are at 64 gold and absolutely zero commerce at 0% science. Meaning that we are at a bit of an economic standstill until we lose some units. Still though, we are currently at top score and that trend will only continue if we use all of our army in capturing Cuzco I bet.

Here is Machu Pichu and the workers.
(one of the workers we captured while razing Machu Pichu)

EDIT: for some reason I'm not allowed to attach .rar files here? (at least through the forum attachment system)

So anyways, give me an e-mail and I'll e-mail it to you smile

SuperEdit: Might it make more sense for me to give you the t124 save of when I capture Cuzco? I just did it to see if I could smile .... might make more sense as its a change in phase ... smile ... from Incans being alive t100 to them not being alive t124 wink

Then someone else can do a set of economy turns to make up for my damage lol

Compress the game as a .zip file.

My apologies for not looking up the game before tonight. Been hectic with the GAA this week, lots of games and lots of training.

Going after HC was the right choice, it was either him of our northern neighbour. And with the fertility of the Inca, HC had to go.

Looking at the cities, Tiwanaku can be a very good GP farm, Shakuras is the obvious Heroic Epic military pump, and we could set up Cuzco with the Globe for a draft camp. Capital will be hybrid, and pretty much every city between us and former Inca will be commerce central.
