Oh, regarding picks, I was thinking either players pick in some fashion, or random/random, since leaders and civs are supposed to be somewhat more balanced. Also it would save me from having to make a decision.

With RBmod, and this many players...I'll roll 18 combos and give each person 3 unique choices, that seem fair?
Kind of interested in making a map, although won't be able to start work until this weekend.

As for Diplomacy: I'm not entirely sure I want to do the full diplo circuit, but based on some of the games I've been reading, strict AI Diplo could be equally obnoxious in its own way. Have there been any games that allow diplomacy via the in-game diplomacy window, and if so, anyone know how that's worked out?

Difficulty: Mapmaker choice

Dhalphir and ohai~ haven't voted, but I'm not sure it would change the outcome. Also note that there were a few abstentions on some of the issues, and I did not record those.
