Mardoc didn't accept peace. That's probably a good thing all things considered. I can try to hit him with a 20 vulture stack in a bit. His power graph has stagnated so he might not have too many axes.
The war weariness is annoying. We can't trade for happiness and we didn't found a religion, so we're starving for happiness.
We captured the barb city ^^ Our Vulture reached 10 XP from fighting with the barbs there. We'll get a free worker too.
Updated my plans for cities. We got 11 city spots to settle, 9 on the coast. That's discounting the big islands or any land from Mardoc and Fenn.

Aaaand it's over. The Great Lighthouse is gone. I knew it was too good to be true.
Our Axe+Spear spy unit located Mardoc's stack, or at least 5 axes and a few other units. They are one tile behind Triceratops.
This is good, they won't have fortify bonuses when they retreat to the capital.
Fenn has a shit load of archers in his border cities. The more archers I see the happier I will be. Only axes pose any kind of threat to us.

His insistence on treating Archers like effective combat units post-BW is kind of surreal.
I would go all-in on finishing off Mardoc. If Fenn continues to exhibit his current tactical genius, then there's a fair chance you can crush him in an even fight, once Mardoc is out of the picture.
In other words, no more wonders :P

I concur. Moving next turn against Mardoc. Hopefully sheer numbers will be enough to break him.
I need to check Fenn's GNP. I predict it's above ours. Him getting catapults or longbows would mean we can't do anything to him.

Yeah, I meant you'd want to take on Fenn after you've had a chance to build up Mardoc's former land and finish claiming whatever else you can grab on the continent, at a juncture where you have something resembling tech parity.
Now that I think about it, Fenn building almost any Archers is particularly bad since brutalizing them is half of what your UU specializes in (other half being able to take on mounted units at reasonable odds).

Not close at all, I only got Masonry last turn. More of a moral defeat as my dreams and hopes got crushed.

I chopped a forested deer
Must have had resource bubbles off last turn, ugh.
We traded maps with Dreylin again, he had the third continent covered.
The other two continents have had wars judging by the culture map, but nothing major has changed hands.
Oddly enough, Fenn's military build up ended after the war. Power graph is no longer on the rise.
My stacks entered Mardoc's lands. They will merge at Triceratops. Attacking capital in 4 turns, or at least giving it a visit.
I will be a happy man when I no longer have to pay all this unit maintenance.
