t252 - Who's the Mack?

(It pleases me that there are oh so many songs with this term in it. I wonder how long I can go before I run out.)

This was an eventful turn, inasmuch as we did a bit of exploration that really paid off. We moved the northern explorer NW-NE from its original location and then settled Tiger Woods on the planned tile. The upshot:

Several positives there. For one, the city catches horses and ivory which were not previously visible. Additionally, our exploration revealed all the coast in between the river mouths of Tiger Woods and Lance Armstrong, so we get trade routes right off the bat. Given we were probably looking at something like 30t before we had a road connecting the two, thats ~120c we would not otherwise have gotten.

In the south, we revealed some stuff for the next city.

Horses and Corn are nice. If you look at both regional screenshots, you can see we've discovered both stone and marble off the respective coasts. Marble isn't really exciting, as Taj Mahal is the last interesting marble wonder and that will surely fall to one of the PHI civs. Stone does work on Kremlin, as well as Oxford and West Point, so may be worth something at some point.

We went ahead and whipped the worker at Nixon and discovered that Tiger Woods will need 2t to get enough hammers to whip its worker. We considering building culture first but that basically trades 3f for 3c which is obviously terrible. At the capital, we began pasturing pigs. The next few turns should be pretty quiet save for exploration.

Demos reveal Donovan is currently working no hammers. huh He hasn't actually played yet though, so that can change. You can see everyone but he and BGN are on 3 cities, who is on two. Dreylin whipped once, REM whipped twice and scooollla and pindickoti have not whipped at all yet.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

It's totally cause you haven't ended the turn and are slowing down the game theoretically. Residentsleeper

"Can't Hold Us" starts with "Return of the Mack!" -- is that near enough for your purposes? :P
