Thanks, Captain! Now, please make me return in one piece from the EXALT base.
I've been trying to clear this camp for ages! First, my units got pounded by barbarian boats while embarked. Then, it was the wait until I could move a ranged boat there. But I finally did it.
Coupled with the worker return, I secured an alliance for the rest of the game with Jerusalem (the camp was a mission). I'll also finish another mission by spreading my religion to them, with a missionary. I don't have CItrus yet, but neither does Jerusalem, since it's not improved yet. The barbs really mess with the worker AI, so I hope once I clear the last remaining barb, they'll actually improve it. I don't fancy wasting 200g for it.
I managed to kill Pindicator's GG this turn, with my knight. It was under the C-Bow, instead of inside the city, which makes me think Pindicator is really mailing the turns. But I really have no motivation to kill him. He poses no threat, but he gives me an advantage, because his cities will soon have my religion, giving me 1 extra happiness. Besides, I can pillage him for gold and XP. I feel bad for Pindi, but there's really no incentive for me to mercy kill him. I'll cost me, instead of benefiting me. I think this is really a case where going to AI is justified.
My next city will go on the plains tile 2N of the horse. It's a great coastal production city, with 2 iron sources and a new luxury (copper). I can make the city grow pretty fast with a food TR (maybe even two) and a granary. I wish I had more gold, to easily buy the tiles I need and the infra for the city...
I'm not sure this city will return the cost until the end of the game, but who knows. And I have the settler already built (it was waiting for happiness in the island I was going to settle before I found this place), so no harm. I'll just wait until I have the happiness.

Rest of the game? That alliance is good for about 50 turns and a missionary quest will add another 30, but the game could still go longer than that.
Cool to see naval units being used, I hardly ever do anything with them in single-player. I wonder, does their strength count towards being able to get tribute from a city-state?
And yes, the BTW AI is absolutely terrible about losing workers to barbs. Far worse than earlier patches. I think something is just plain broken in the AI, that both city-states and major civs will just sit a worker next to an enemy completely ignoring it.

Their strength counts towards tribute. This makes the Quinquireme almost decent on water maps in MP as you should be able to tribute all of the coastal ones quite easy.

Perhaps I'm a bit overconfident, but I really think I'll win in the next 50 turns or so. Yuris is at Medieval era still, which means he has two reinaissance techs to a decent navy, plus build times. Well, that's a bit of an exxageration, since I think he can defend with Galleasses and Caravels. Still, my boats are way faster, can see longer and all of them can enter ocean.
Finally, I'm going straight for the next era of ships, which require loads of science. I'll get there way, way sooner than everyone else, I think (reason why I decided to keep investing my SPs in rationalism). The strength difference from modern ships is really brutal, and I can raze half of the cities in the other continent. I can likely do this in less than 50t, which I think will cause a concession. Otherwise, in regards to actual victory conditions, that can take longer. Conquest would be my go to choice.

It would be spoilery if anyone else commented on your chances of winning in that or any other time scale, but I'm still reading along.

The nice thing is that the melee-ships can capture a city. ( don't know if they can raze them too).

I just finished watching the first season of the british House of Cards series, so I imagine you saying "you might think that, I cannot possibly comment".

The only thing holding me back is the turnpace.
Anyway, we had another turn.
I'm starting to get past the mid game happiness deficit (through cerimonial burial and the UB happiness, mostly), so it's the time to start expanding/growing again. Floating happiness is a waste of potential in Civ 5.
New city, after a long time. It's coastal and it has awesome production. To top it off, it gets a new happy resource and 2 irons (= 2 more frigates). It's all I could ask for, really. With a food TR, the city will grow in no time, into all the great production tiles. I figure a monument is worth it, for the borders, rather than the empire culture. After that, production buildings? I'm not sure I need any more infra if the idea is to attack with boats as soon as possible...
Another bonus is that half my cities have copper as the WLTKD resource.
And the other half have Citrus, which Jerusalem is diligently improving (not exhaggerating here, all my cities have these two resources as the WLTKD, baring the new one, which doesn't have one yet). I'll make my cities grow again when WLTKD kicks in, which will be just as the GA ends, for a nice touch.
I can probably settle a city like Gordium to the south too, seeing as the map kind of mirrors in the poles. Very nice city spots there and I'm happy I'm the first one with access. Also, first one with access to the CS in the poles, which gives me quite a easy path in clearing barb camps for easy influence (already on it).
Religion is finally starting to bring some bonuses. The faith per turn is decent, and I bought my first Mosque this past turn. I'm not sure if the reigious buildings are worth it in a MP game, since the setup for them takes so long (at least I'm in position to buy some more of them in a timely manner from now on). And faith is very hard to come by without the proper terrain.
Only now finishing Workshops, since I've neglected the bottom of the tech tree while pursuing science (education) and happiness (banking and the UB). I'm prioritizing hammers during the GA (and science, since this is the NC city), but I'll change to food when WLTKD kicks in.
I really need to fill those TRs. It'll likely be with food caravans for my best cities. I'll love to get some more Cargo Ships, but my coastal cities can't afford to build them (I bought the one that is going to Gordium with gold) and I'll be lacking gold when the GA ends (and I have ships to upgrade before that). A Cargo Ship to the Capital would be lovely, but I do't think it'll happen any time soon (my coastal cities besides the Capital don't even have granaries yet).
Anything the lurkers want to see? I can post more pictures now that I figured out the steam photo hosting.

Gordium is a beautiful city alright. A trade route is enough food to grow on its very first turn? (edit: you're on Quick speed where it's 10 food to grow, that's why that works.) Nicely done indeed. And yeah, it'll need a monument unless you want to be buying like three or four tiles here.

Not sending a food ship to the cap seems like a waste if you have NC there. Can't you build tradeship in the cap and buy/build a granary in the sending city?
