That sucks, though. And right after you got the good news about your job, too. I'm sorry to hear it.
Can you change the locks next payday, hopefully?

My mother ended up giving me a couple bucks to get them changed today. Next payday will probably be spent getting a new xbox so i can watch netflix/hulu on my t.v.
I also ended up getting a 2018 Chevy Malibu. Not at all what i wanted.. but i needed something reliable. In a year or two ill probably trade it in for something closer to a Camero as im not likely to have kids anytime soon and i like being able to put my foot on the gas and both HEAR my engine, and burn rubber if i want. Both of which isnt possible with the 1.7L? car im driving now.
I miss having this car..
The year and change that i had it was not long enough

On the upside, that should free time for a couple more PBs though, right ![wink wink](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/wink2.gif) ?

For the record, I got the job.
Well done. When will you be taking it up.

The fact that it wasnt a forced entry, and only 1 person has a key to my house other than myself... Should be an open and shut case. ![frown frown](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Very sucky. A similar thing happened to me about ten years ago. No evidence, but the cops thought it was a roommate stole my xbox 360.

Sometime between August 10 and August 26. The one contract starts on the 10th, the other ends on the 26th. When exactly I'll make my transition during that overlap is still being negotiated between myself and the two administrations - I have quite a lot of vacation time saved here so I hope that can be used to smooth things over.
If anyone is interested, I wrote a short post about my experiences in Korea during the corona epidemic. They were pretty boring, mostly because the Korean government did a fantastic job:

Thanks for the writeup. You have no idea how jealous I am reading about a competent pandemic response.
Anyway, have officially gone mad by trying to play a couple Goldberg Variations to keep my sanity in line. It's strangely enjoyable to metaphorically grind my face against sandpaper.
