In light of all this weird diplomacy, I have to say this:


I am never playing a full diplomacy game here unless we are guaranteed to have the following:

1. All teams have proven diplomats who will have open communication with other teams.*
2. All players in the game will have unique, specific identities and play for their own team's sake.

(*) This mostly pertains to the start of the game. Even if teams don't like each other, they should at least say so in chat.

1. Thats not a big deal. We had to accept Rome's diplo policy as is. If someone decide to ignore diplo completely, thats his right even in full diplo game. Did you know DT from Poland too? But he told me he never got a word from Barteq.

2. I'm sure they all unique. No need to accuse one of them cheating, I suppose. Maga=Asterix isnt cheating, imo. That just fun, but not when one account controls two teams.

Don't have time for more detailed comments, unfortunately (I stayed up way too late on a programming assignment), except it seems like we're in an okay position if Rome chooses to attack elsewhere.

Talked with Arki and accept missionary+20g deal.
Missionary gifted this turn, 20g vs worker exchange will be on the next turn.

Yos moved stack to show it to Rome, as he told me. He is sure Rome will attack Dinos.

Our 1st catapult is done. Next turn we'll get 3 more.

Most important news: India OB with Rome. I don't know what to make out of this.
Yuufo keep ignoring me for some time. And they whip a lot too. Maybe they decide to join Rome vs DT?
Maybe Rome after us and Yuufo will break a NAP?
Maybe he gives Rome passage to attack us from East, but thats just crazy?

Maybe I've made a mistake to put our main stack on silver hill, where Rome could see it.

Finally, chatted with Yuufo.

He said, he just offered OB to Rome and they accept.
No diplo exchange with Rome.
Also, he said, he moved Spear into Rome's land, but didn't saw SoD yet. Praet from Ravenna moved south inland.

He is ready to make that Fur deal, as he told me. We have enough happiness for now, but we'll lose Silk on t113.
And I doubt we'll get Calendar+Spice plantation by then.

All looks interesting, I wonder why India and Rome have OB. I hope Rome isn't planning on using India's route as a way to get Praetorians over to us. But then again, why'd they do that? That would arguably be a better situation for us.

I would not worry about Yuufo breaking a NAP.

Anyway, I tried logging in twice but I couldn't do so because Asterix was logged in at the same time --- "he might not have configured his firewall properly."
